Hold ⌘, tap Space — Spotlight opens.

Mac has no shortcut straight to Settings; Spotlight is the fast keyboard path. ⌘ sits beside the space bar.

Steps in text

  1. Hold ⌘, tap Space — Spotlight opens.
  2. Type "sound" and press Return.
  3. Click Sound in the sidebar.
  4. Under Output, click the device you want.
  5. Done — sound now plays from that device.
