Hold ⌘, then tap the comma key.
⌘ sits beside the space bar. Either ⌘ works — only one is needed.
Steps in text
- Hold ⌘, then tap the comma key.
- Safari's Settings window opens.
- Click the Passwords tab. Your Mac asks for your login password or Touch ID before showing anything.
- Click a site in the list to reveal its password.
- The password is now readable.
